My Favorite Trips
Photo taken by me in Peru.
The favorite places that I have been to are Florida, Costa Rica and Peru. I am going to tell you a little bit about them in this post.
Florida

Florida is a place I must go to every summer. With my family being very in love with the Florida beaches, I have been to many places along the Florida gulf coast. My favorite place is Rosemary beach. Rosemary beach is easy to get to whether flying or driving. Rosemary beach, in my opinion, is one of the prettiest beaches in Florida. It is in a great location too. Just down the street you have a much smaller beach community at Alys Beach and further down the 30A highway you have Seaside Beach. I believe that Rosemary Beach is the perfect medium when it comes to people, location and beaches. Seaside is fun for a day trip to the town but the beaches are very crowded there. Alys is great for a beach day trip because their beaches are almost empty given how new it is, but there is not much of a town scene there. Rosemary is a great median between the three because it does have a fun town square and their beaches are more spread out giving them a more personal feel. Costa Rica

I have been to Costa Rica twice in my life. The first time I was in third grade and the second time was sophomore year of high school. The second trip to Costa Rica I took was much different than a normal vacation. I was there for 11 days. Throughout those 11 days I was hiking through the jungle and rainforest and staying with a different host family each night. The thing that was amazing to me was that the host families were all one branch of a big family. They all lived in this giant jungle and would hike to and from each other’s houses. I had the opportunity to hunt for the meat we would eat and harvest the crops for eating as well. At the end of this trip we had a few days at the beach which involved surfing lessons. I HIGHLY recommend surfing in Costa Rica. The waves were amazing and the beaches were gorgeous as well. Click here for information on where to visit in Costa Rica.

Peru was much rougher than taking a tour bus up to Machu Picchu like most tourists do. I was in Peru for 15 days and traveled to many different places around the country. I started off flying into the town of Cuzco. One thing to note about Peru is that the elevations are very high. Flying into Cuzco and staying there for a couple nights was great to help us get acclimated to the altitude before starting out trek. Instead of going to the bottom of the mountain and taking a bus to the famous Machu Picchu, we did a 4 day trek up to it. The hardest part of the trek was having to hike up 14,000 feet through Dead Woman’s Pass and then back down to Machu Picchu. This was an incredible experience and I recommend that you should do this if you have the opportunity to. Next on this trip we flew to the Amazon Rainforest and stayed a couple nights there. We had the opportunity of staying on Monkey Island which is on the amazon river. Monkey Island is an island where the habitants of it are preserving these endangered species of monkeys on one island to keep them safe. Peru was my favorite trip that I have had the chance of going on and I recommend that everybody does the same! Click here for more information on where to visit in Peru.
Recommendations
These are just a couple of the places I have been. More recommendation for you to travel to would be Turks and Caicos, Hawaii and California. Most of my trips have revolved around beaches and exercise but that is not all that is available with these places and trips. I recommend that you travel as much as possible while you can!
